Huge weekend in the SEC.
It's not even fair to compare conferences in college football anymore this season. The SEC is far and away the best league. The fact that they might not have a representative in the BCS title game is a moot point. The league is so deep that you can't help but incur casualties during the regular season. USC will cruise into the title game because the PAC-10 is mediocre. If the Trojans played in the SEC, they'd be another solid 2 loss team.
Check out these games this weekend.
- LSU at Auburn: Your basic run of the mill heavyweight fight.
- Alabama at Arkansas: Upset alert. Who's the more unlikeable coach, Bobby Petrino or Nick Saban?
- Florida at Tennessee: The Gators claim the Vols quit in last years bloodletting. It was only 59-20 so why would they say that?
- Vanderbilt at Ole Miss: If the Commodores win, they can pretty much punch their bowl ticket.
- Georgia at Arizona St: Even though ASU lost last week to UNLV this has the makings of a scary game for the Dawgs.
As always, you play at your own risk in the SEC. Not only is it undoubetdly the best conference, but you might be able to make a case that's it's the best one season a league has ever had.
