The College Fanz Mobile Broadcast Unit On Campus Program
Each four-year College and University with an NCAA or NAIA athletic program is invited to apply to be included in the College Fanz Mobile Broadcast Unit (MBU) On Campus Program. Of the 1,450 college and universities in the College Fanz Sports Network, 30 will be selected to host a College Fanz MBU for the 2010-2011 year according to the following eligibility requirements:
The College Fanz MBU On Campus Program is designed to showcase the best student-athletes across America using the athletic programs already established on each campus and the MBU provided by College Fanz. Games at small schools and large are broadcast live on the internet and seen in countries world-wide. Other games are recorded and broadcast at scheduled times. You have the opportunity to showcase your own teams as well as teams at campuses nearby.
At times when there are no athletic events being broadcast, you have the opportunity to showcase other campus events. Starting with the cheerleaders, the mascot and the band, expanding to the pep rally and Homecoming events, there are only so many athletic events available on each campus and the surrounding campuses. Add commencement exercises and visiting speakers and you still have not exhausted the time available on a 24/7/365 channel. Expand your horizons to display your top academic programs and the other features that make your campus unique. Make your campus known as the best option for prospective college students. Show the world what your school has to offer. Show the business world what your students can accomplish through this unique real-life experience.
College Fanz provides the fully-equipped MBU, training and support for each on campus program. Each campus team will be trained on the operation of the vehicle and equipment, the industry standards as well as the College Fanz standards for broadcasting games and other events.
Each Campus Team operates independent of College Fanz with a faculty adviser who manages, coordinates and reviews their Campus Team. Your staff member works with College Fanz to coordinate the scheduling of events and broadcasts, maintain standards and resolve issues that arise.
We encourage each Campus Team to market the College Fanz MBU On Campus Project in their region, attract local sponsors to help defray the cost of the program and engage the local population to participate in the broadcasts and interact online. You have unlimited opportunity to build your own following on College Fanz and outshine the other college communities on College Fanz.
