Cheap shot? You make the call
In the East, that is called playing football
The shot on the QB was a helmet to helmet hit after the QB released the ball. The player had a clear view that the QB had released the ball.
The defensive player, had not time to pull-up. You can't slow down.
I don't think it was late, but there's no doubt he led with the helmet, which is illegal and has been a focus area for refs the last few years. Don't think it was helmet to helmet, more helmet to chest. I'd vote 'no' on 'cheap shot', but it was probably illegal...
Yeah im not seeing anything cheap there at all. Clean hit across the middle. Boise player just trying to do his part on the play and make a block.

I am sorry, where is the cheap shot? That is a clean hit across the middle, and occurs in almost every game. It is tough to call a hit a cheap shot when you are facing each other.
