It seems like the only thing Central Michigan has on their side for this game is the fact that they're playing at home. They also could be inside the heads of Ball St who they hammered 58-38 last season and have won the last four games against them. The homefield advantage seems to be minimized though since it's a turf field and Ball St has such incredible speed.
CMU QB Dan LeFevour has had an ankle injury but looked pretty good against Northern Illinois. The Chippewas will have to play a lot better defensively than they did in the last 20 minutes against UNI when they coughed up a 30-6 lead. Central Michigan has an explosive punt returner in Antonio Brown but I doubt special teams will decide this game. Instead it'll be turnovers and CMU's ability to get some pressure on Ball St QB Nate Davis. It could be tight, but Ball St is the better team and they're building confidence with each game.
