It has some excellent football teams and is vastly underrated but try and figure it out and you'll go batty. Tonight, there are two MAC games. One of them looks to be a great game and the other one a who cares. It turns out they're both very important. Try and digest some of this MAC info.
- Temple and Kent St play tonight and have 3 MAC wins between the two. Yet both are somehow still alive to win the East division. Temple has lost this year in OT (in the rain), on a hail mary and on a fumble when they were trying to run out the clock. Despite that, if they run the table, they stand a shot to win the East.
- Central Michigan is unbeaten in the MAC and has only lost to Purdue and Georgia. Yet, they are an underdog tonight to a Northern Illinois team that probably won't be in a bowl and lost by 31 to Ball St last week.
- Ball St is 10-0 and is ranked 14th in the country. But, they'll have to beat both Central Michigan and Western Michigan in the next three weeks to even play in the MAC championship.
- The West division has four teams who are unbeaten at home (CMU, Ball St, WMU, Northern Illinois) In the East, Bowling Green and Akron are a combined 2-6 at home but 8-3 on the road.
It can get any sillier. Or maybe three teams tying for the East Division at 4-4 and 6-6 overall would just blow your mind. It might be strange, but it could also be the most fun league in college football.

Strange as it may be, I find it even crazier that Temple is winning anything at all.
Not too long ago they were the worst team in D-1 (although one could argue Duke was equally as bad) and now they've fought hard all year despite not improving their roster much.
