Today marks the first blog of Texas A&M-Commerce athletics. As the sports information director, I feel I have the insight and first-hand knowledge to write to you about your favorite team. From time-to-time, I'll ask our student-athletes, coaches and administrators to lend a hand to this blog. But, my first order of business is to remind you to renew your Lion Athletic Club membership for 2008-09 and the next thing is to tell you to sign up for the Ernest Hawkins Golf Classic by contacting us at (903) 886-5558. Both things benefit the entire athletic department.
